Our members vary from those whose school maths has been gently rusting away for fifty years to people who have retired from careers in engineering, science, technology, accountancy and university lecturing.  What our members have in common are lively minds, and the desire to learn. We meet monthly, starting by having one of the members present a topic of his or her choice, then discussing some mathematical challenges that had been circulated by email after the previous meeting.
